Wrapping Up Through Many Fires

I’m taking a break from writing the last chapter of Through Many Fires.

The first 14 chapters of the novel have been sent to the editor.  I’ve written 14 additional chapters and should be working on the climax of the book now.  Unless I go crazy with some new subplot Through Many Fires will have 29 chapters and be about 69,500 words long.

The front and back covers are done, but because the width of the spine is determined by the page count, the graphic artist can’t do that part until I’m done writing.

Then there are press releases that the publicist writes, but those can’t be written until the book has a firm release date.

The editor, graphic artist and publicist are all waiting on me.  I guess I should get back to work.
