This is the page to find Advance Reader Copies (ARC) for beta readers and reviewers.

What Is a Beta Reader?
In the general sense, a beta reader is a test reader of an unreleased book. They provide feedback to the author from the perspective of an average reader. A good beta reader offers an unbiased opinion on plot, pacing, consistency, and character development. This helps the author identify and fix issues before the work is published. Unlike an editor, who focuses on sentence-level corrections, a beta reader gives feedback on the overall story and its emotional impact.

What Do I Want from Beta Readers?
I love hearing what you enjoy about my books (I’ll never say no to that), but what I really need is for you to spot problems.

If you’re good with grammar, feel free to note any issues you find. (This isn’t required—an editor will handle the final review. We’re just trying to make that step faster and easier.)

The most helpful way to make comments is something like this: “I got confused here because…” or “I don’t know why the character did this…” Don’t worry about offending me; I’d rather hear it from you than from a critic or reviewer after publication.

Anyone who beta-reads the full manuscript will be thanked in the acknowledgments and receive a signed first-edition copy.

Click the appropriate button at the top of the page. That will take you to a site called StoryOrigin. The site is free for beta readers. There, you can read the manuscript and leave comments for me. I’ll need the manuscript back with your comments by the date set on the site so I can make changes and forward it to the final editor. However, if you need a few extra days, let me know.

Beta readers are a huge help, and I know I’m asking a lot of you. If, for any reason, you can’t finish, just say so. I understand.

As I mentioned earlier, if you do beta-read the complete manuscript, I’ll mention you in the acknowledgments and give you a signed copy of the first edition.

After publication, I’d appreciate it if you reviewed the book on Amazon, Goodreads, or your preferred platform. This isn’t required, and I won’t be checking.
